Trilogy Triathlon is the Triathlon Ireland Affiliated club for Laois and surrounding counties. The club was formed in 2004 to promote the multisport ethos of Triathlon - competing in running, cycling and swimming events.

Membership: In 2012 Trilogy Triathlon has over 130 members
Target Members: We welcome all ages and all abilities - our average adult member is mid-thirties, and about half new members tell us they can't swim!
Races: the club organises Trilaois, the season opener in 2012 for the sport in Ireland along with Irelands Favourite and Biggest Triathlon (TriAthy) in June.
Local League: The club also organises a local training league for Triathlon and Duathlon.
Competition: We compete in up to 8 triathlon events nationwide each Summer and internationally each 2 years.
Training: We offer 5+ coach-led sessions per week. As a member, you decide how many of these you want to attend.
Philosophy: As a young club, we are very proud to offer all new members a welcoming and encouraging environment. After all, there is nobody in the club so long that they forget what it is like to be a new member.
New Member Promise: We promise new members coaching and support, group training and encouragementto reach your personal best, and best of all - a friendly, fun and social environment.
Cost: Membership is free and includes all outdoor training and local league races. We also offer subsidised training, gear and racing.
One of the
conditions of membership is that members help at Trilaois and
TriAthy. We
know members like to race these two great events and that can be done
if you have two marshalls to take your place. The club attends many
other triathlons in Ireland that we can race as a club. New members
can race Trilaois in their first year but all members are needed to
help at TriAthy.

* While Trilogy Triathlon do not charge any membership fees, for insurance reasons, it is mandatory for all members to join Triathlon Ireland. A nominal annual membership fee of €18.00 is payable to Triathlon Ireland for such membership (€1.00 for Junior members).
