Leeds mother of three Jane tomlinson was first diagnosed with breast cancer aged 26.
10 years later, she found out that the cancer she thought she had beat had actually spread to her lungs and bones. The doctors gave her the grim verdict - there was nothing more they could do.
Refusing to accept the news, Jane decided to fight - her life sentence, her disease, and the accepted expectations of living with cancer. Battling fierce pain Jane complete three London marathons, the Great North Run, and a 2,500 mile bicycle journey "From Rome to Home", and, in doing so, raised over 1.5EUR million for charity.
This is Jane's story, told with her husband Mike. It is the story of a marriage, of two ordinary people made extraordinary by the courage with which they face their greatest challenge. With searing honesty and surprising humour, they write about their fears, hopes and ambitions for an uncertain future.
